about (ish)

The epic vastness of space, meaningful stories, creating inspiring stuff...for me, these are the things. If you were to ask me if art, design, and storytelling can be neatly separated, I would tell you, flat out: no. Not that you asked. But. Since you’re here, I might as well ask: shouldn’t even everyday objects aim to inspire? And surely we can agree that million dollar paintings should as well. (And no, impressing your friends doesn’t count as “inspiration.” I’m not letting you get away with that excuse. XD) But what about the stories we tell over bonfires? The ones we whisper as we shiver in the frosty mountain air, wielding swords tipped with perfectly burnt marshmallows——waving them around like maniacs in case any shadowy figure should jump out from the waytoosilent forest. (Hey, a properly sharpened stick can be lethal, especially if marshmallow-equipped. Just look at what John Wick did with a pencil.) Surely, those kinds of stories count for something, right?

If your answer is yes, you know where to find me.

And if it’s not yes, that’s okay. I have hope that you’ll figure things out soon.

(aw, man. now you got me missing those choose-your-own-adventures stories 😭 😭)
